Pokwang, in her early life was not blessed financially. To make both ends meet, Pokwang forced herself to work abroad in Japan as an entertainer. It was during her stint in abroad that she met Hideyo who later became the father of her two sons. Pokwang and Hideyo later separated. Pokwang came back to the Philippines for good upon the death of her son.
Pokwang life took a turn for the better when she became one of the contestants for “Clown in a Million,” a segment on the now-defunct gag show Yes! Yes! Show. This gave her an opportunity to display her comedic prowess through the different challenges that they have to surpass. And as they say… THE REST IS HISTORY…

My husband (Manny-he’s Mexican) loves her, when he get a chance to watch WOWOWEE, he only checks out Pokwang’s outfit. AWESOME. We love you, funny girl, keep it up and more power to you. God Bless.

Girl you are right on. You are going to get far on this, kinda like MadTV or SNL style shows. Just be careful who you spoof, I mean have they got a sense of humor or a minute piece of brain to realize it is satire. Otherwise, they gonna get mad at you girl. RP needs your brand of humor. They should make you MInister of Culture, because RP lacks it.
